• Painting
• Work on paper (printmaking, drawing)
• New media (including time based media)
• 3D media - ceramics, sculpture etc.
• Photography
• Under 18 (encompasses all media)

Artists will need to Log in / Sign up to Guildfordeye to make a submissions (which you can edited) and for each piece of work submitted there is a £5 administration charge.

Voting

All works submitted will be displayed online for four weeks during September.

Members of the public are encouraged to vote for their favourite work and the 5 pieces of work with the most votes in each category will progress through to the Finals.

All artists will be provided with a promotional pack from Guildfordeye with guidelines on how best to promote their work.

A Final round of voting will take place in October concluding with a week long live exhibition at a gallery in Guildford.

2/3 of votes will be determined by the public and 1/3 will be judged by a panel of experts with the winners being announced at an awards ceremony and drinks on the final evening.

Prizes

Prizes are still in the process of being finalised but there will be a prize for the overall winner, a prize for the winners of each category, and a people’s choice prize where the people of Guildford will be open to vote for your work online.

All finalists will be supported by Guildfordeye through editorial and networking opportunities over the following year
